CHIME provides a holistic educational program including art, music, PE, library, outdoor classroom/garden and engaging hands-on learning for all children. Today our nationally renowned model has been praised by countless educators and families worldwide.
Our Art program is rooted in the Teaching for Artistic Behavior (T.A.B.) philosophy. At CHIME, students learn to be artists rather than create specific teacher-selected projects. Student artists learn "studio habits of mind" like envisioning, exploring, expressing, reflecting, and more in an open studio environment where they use a variety of materials to create unique works of art with personal meaning.
Our Music program is built on the belief that every voice matters. Through collaborative performance, rhythmic play, and creative expression, our students don't just learn to read, write, and play music—they build confidence, empathy, and lifelong connections with their peers. Whether exploring new instruments or finding their own rhythm, every child is encouraged to shine.
Our Outdoor Classroom & Garden are
an interactive and educational garden area where students can discover
ecological, mathematical, science, social science, and language arts concepts in this hands-on, living laboratory
